Social media is one of the biggest tools for the on-trade in all its guises, allowing outlets to reach out via an up-to-the minute – and extremely cost-effective – means of communication. Most importantly it’s proving one of the most effective weapons in drawing people out of their homes and into the hospitality arena.
The Hospitality Social Media Awards (HSMA) were launched to encourage and applaud this and celebrate the very best in social media within hospitality companies. They recognise the companies who are using social media to communicate in fresh and innovative ways and to build business with customers and potential customers.
The Awards are pan industry with each sector having their own category – from chains and independents to pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants, stadia and late night venues.
The judging panel includes leading professionals in marketing, communications, advertising and digital communications as well as leading lights from the pub, club and hospitality world.
The Awards will take place June 27th at a very special venue - to be announced shortly. Entries are based on what has taken place in 2018.
